summer in the san juan islands...

just returned home from my workshop in the san juan islands, washington. a truly magical place. being surrounded by large bodies of water, towering trees and shifting fog and mist is never a bad thing. stunning. we traveled by ferry to three islands, each with its own personality and beautiful scenery. it's always a bit difficult to leave each time - but it's comforting to know we'll be back this time next year.
